Quiche Recipe

Cheese, chicken & broccoli quiche recipe :
Ingredients:
- 1 pastry for a 9 inch pie shell
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon sage
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped
- 1 ½ cups cooked chicken breasts, chopped

Instructions:
- Place the pie shell in to a pie plate and prick the bottom with a fork.
- Beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on low speed until creamy.
- With a wooden spoon mix in the cornstarch, salt, pepper, thyme and sage until completely blended.
- Pour the chicken broth in slowly stirring as you pour and stir until mixture becomes very smooth.
- Stir in the cheese, broccoli and chicken.
- Pour the mixture into the pie shell.
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Bake the quiche for 15 minutes then reduce the heat to 325 degrees.
- Continue to bake another 35 minutes or until the filling is set.
- Allow the quiche to cool 15 minutes before cutting.
